Kanaba’s true power lies in the “Canabart Arte Yogtos” (the devil of nothingness), trapped in another dimension by Kanaba’s body itself. This devil caused considerable trouble during the creation of Earth, but was beaten and driven into another dimension by Navia and Maseitai dispatched by the God of Creation.
Inside Kanaba exists the gate to this dimension. The legendary Elder Councilman, Haponal successfully suppressed this gate with the chain of “Thai-Rohto”, but time has gradually weakened its effectiveness. The Thai-Rohto within Kanaba may break at any time now, and the devil may soon renter this dimension from his long incarceration.
Kanaba is able to release some of the energy suppressed by the Thai-Rohto within, projecting a force called “Confinement”. This force completely binds its victim, and temporarily takes them to the other side of the gate. This dimension is ruled by the devil of nothingness, and causes human soldiers to claw their eyes out and become insane. Maseitai, on the other hand, simply roam the depths of this dimension until they are able to return.
